A Welcoming Environment
Catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, Westside Christian College is situated on an elevated site in Goodna, along the Brisbane-Ipswich corridor. Students travel from the western suburbs of Brisbane and the greater Ipswich area.
Westside has two campuses, 100 metres apart—the Primary Campus (Prep to Year 6) and the Secondary Campus (Years 7 to 12). Our Kindergarten is located on the Secondary Campus and our OSHCare services are on the Primary Campus.
Primary Campus
Designed to cater for children’s different needs, the Primary Campus facilities provide a variety of optimal learning spaces in a relaxed and comfortable environment with a leafy backdrop. These include colourful classrooms, well-equipped Music, Visual Art and Technology specialist facilities, an excellent library, playgrounds, open play spaces, well-shaded sandpits, ball courts and a large, grassed oval—all great places for children to explore and play games with their friends.
Excitingly, construction of the first stage of the College’s 2025-2050 Master Plan will commence in 2026. This facility will be a significant, covered, multipurpose facility incorporating a covered court for multiple sports, performance stage, music classroom with sports store, amenities, HPE staffroom and external collaborative spaces. This expansive build will not only enhance delivery of our sporting, physical education and arts progams, but also accommodate the whole Primary school community for assemblies and celebrations. The undercroft of this facility will subsequently be developed into multiple contemporary and inspiring new learning spaces.
Secondary Campus
Well-equipped facilities on the Secondary Campus optimise student learning opportunities across a range of subject areas which include specialist facilities for Science, HPE, Industrial Design and Digital Technologies, Creative Industries and Hospitality.
The first stage of a state-of-the-art Creative Industries Precinct includes a dance facility, drama theatre, film and media facility, recording studios, instrumental music rooms, music and general classrooms, gallery and café. The innovative architecture and integration of technology has resulted in an inspiring learning environment that enhances collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
A Wellbeing Hub, informal areas, multi-purpose ball courts, and a grassed sports oval, provide focal points for our young people to meet, chat, and enjoy recreational and sporting activities.
2025 - 2050 Master Plan
The College’s new Master Plan sets out a vision of renewal and expansion on both the Primary and Secondary campuses. This building program leverages recently acquired land adjacent to each campus. It will provide new and inspiring environments to support learning excellence, holistic formation and a deeply connected community whilst expanding the horizons and elevating the aspirations of our young people, for whom we give our utmost.
