Enriching Opportunities

Our students engage in a well-rounded curriculum that covers a variety of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Social Sciences, Physical Education, Health, Digital Technologies, Design Technologies, Music, Visual Arts, Italian, and Christian Studies. Every year, they also look forward to participating in an integrated drama, dance, and music performance.

Classroom Learning

Our teaching staff plan and implement student-centred, evidence-informed learning programs. At the heart of what we do is a commitment to give each child opportunities to grow to become literate and numerate learners who can creatively and innovatively respond to scientific and design challenges, seek to understand others, and learn from history on a local, global and international scale.

Our teachers consider the individual needs, interests, and achievements of students, analysing and utilising data to plan and implement teaching sequences. They creatively introduce new content and consolidate and assess student learning.

Each year level also has opportunities to learn beyond the classroom with incursions, excursions and outdoor education.

Year Level Coordinator Teachers

A Team Coordinator leads each year level from P-6. This teacher leads by example in their practice, faith, relationships, and stewardship, and works closely with the Primary Leadership Team to support student growth and development.

Health and Physical Education

Our HPE program nurtures students' physical, social, and emotional well-being through movement, teamwork, and health education, aligning with the Australian Curriculum. Students develop skills, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness while learning to make healthy, safe, and active choices in God’s creation. Through physical challenges, collaborative games, and well-being discussions, they grow in confidence and capability to lead active, healthy, and faith-filled lives.

TESTIMONIAL

I so enjoy coming to school each day. There’s such a sense of belonging here. I love finding the gold in each student, and drawing that out.

One staff member had a huge impact on me and shaped the person I am today. Now a teacher here, I still marvel at the care and time teachers invest in students.

I really valued having positive relationships and honest conversations with my teachers. I was able to take their advice without offence, and that enabled me to work better.
